Prayer Brings Powerful Christians Some information from Rev. Joshua Paul (The Bright and Morning Star Revival Ministry (Rev 22:16)

Prayer is vital and seems often to involve an hour of prayer. But it needs some effort, like the disciples it is easy for us to fall asleep because the “The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” We need to pray and keep watch “so that you will not fall into temptation.” Some of us are morning people, some are night people. We all need to pray night and morning.
Our Prayer should, in due course, contain elements of the following:-

Personal Prayer. - Encourage each individual to spend quality time with the Lord each morning by providing teaching and challenge. If necessary to encourage them to meet with a few others for a period of time. (Training of Soldiers)
Early Morning Prayer Brings Prepared Christians Mrk 1:35 - 39 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark,  went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Acts 2v15  It's only nine in the morning!  1 Sam 1:19 Early the next morning they arose and worshipped before the LORD  they would not move till they had worshipped God together. Prayer and provender do not hinder a journey.
Prayer and Fasting. - This will be called when there is a need, dire emergency or important decision. The whole church will be invited to be involved.
Fasting Prayer Brings Seeking Christians Mt 4: 1-2 1 Sam 1:7-8  she wept and would not eat.  for sons   Esther 4:16-17  "Acts 13:2-3 While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."  So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off. Acts 14:23 and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust.
All Night Prayer. - With the purpose of corporately seeking God’s face concerning His will and purposes for the church.
All Night Prayer Brings Determined Christians Luke 6:12  One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.  MHCC Christ was whole nights engaged in meditation and secret prayer  Gen 32:24-31  wrestled with him till daybreak. because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome MHCC  more fully  spread his fears before God in prayer. When the spirit helpeth our infirmities we shall prevail; and we shall prevail against all enemies. Wrestling it is an emblem of the true spirit of faith and prayer. though the struggle continued long, this did not shake his faith, nor silence his prayer. The fervent prayer is the effectual prayer. those are truly honourable that are mighty in  prayer. Having power with God, he shall have power with men too; he shall prevail it is sunrise with that soul, which has had communion with God.
24 hour Prayer. - Provide a rota for some one to pray concerning the meetings and activities of the church as well as the leaders, workers and all associated with the church. (Constant Watch)
24 Hour Prayer Watch Brings Spiritual Awareness Eph 6:18  And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.  1Thes 5:17  pray continually; Is 62:6 - 7  I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.  MHCC God's professing people must be a praying people. He is not displeased with us for being earnest, as men commonly are; he bids us to cry after him, and give him no rest, #Lu 11:5,6|. It is a sign that God is coming to a people in mercy, when he pours out a spirit of prayer upon them. See how uncertain our creature-comforts are. See also God's mercy in giving plenty, and peace to enjoy it. Let us delight in attending the courts of the Lord, that we may enjoy the consolations of his Spirit. Prayer March. - A specific prayer march on a one off basis when opening a work or taking major steps forward in an established work, for the breaking of forces in the business and practices and in the town.
Prayer March Brings Strong Hold Destruction. Josh 6:1 - 12  Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Israelites. ........ Josh 6:21 They devoted the city to the LORD  Eph 6:10 - 12 10  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. MHCC Spiritual strength and courage are needed for our spiritual warfare and suffering. Those who would prove themselves to have true grace, must aim at all grace; and put on the whole armour of God, which he prepares and bestows.
